At Plank & Pearl we love a good design challenge, so when the opportunity arose to join an exceptionally creative team for an eclectic styled shoot at Blanc (Denver), we jumped in feet first. Our building blocks were a rustic plank table, the gorgeous exposed brick walls of our industrial venue, and a stunning, real-life couple whose inner and outer beauty is powerfully magnetic.
We left the wooden table bare, setting it with geometric ivory stoneware plates,
vintage amber goblets, and heavy silver flatware from our rental inventory. Wedding planner and floral designer Sarah Johns added more texture and pops of color with her sumptuous spring arrangements. Our final touches were a collection of vintage English tea tins, juxtaposed with bleached deer antlers from Colorado.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sarah many times before, and she always brings a sense of deep professionalism mixed with humor and playfulness. Together we arranged a stylish vignette using our wicker Peacock chair and plant stands as a “throne” for our beautiful bride.
