Frequently Asked Questions


How do I rent from Plank & Pearl? It’s easy! After you confirm your event date and venue, please contact us to book an appointment to see our collections and create a Wishlist. If you’re not in the Denver area but planning a Colorado wedding or event, you can shop our inventory directly from our website. Like a shopping cart, a Wish List stores your selections. We don’t collect payment at this point; we simply use the information to send you a proposal. When you accept our proposal, we move forward with our contract and deposit policy.

What will it cost? Individual prices can be found when you click each item. Your proposal will also include tax, delivery fees, and styling fees (if desired).

May I add new items or substitute items after I’ve signed a contract? We will do our best to accommodate changes or additions with two-weeks notice and depending on availability. Keep in mind that during the busy summer season, items you want may be reserved for other clients.

What is the minimum rental period? The rental period for any of our pieces is 24-hours. If you need more time, there are additional charges. Please note that we can’t accommodate hourly rentals.

When is the best time to reserve my items? The more lead-time you can give yourself (and us!), the less stress you’ll feel. You’ll be guaranteed that everything you want will be available when you need it, and at the current pricing. However, there are always special occasions that need to come together quickly, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Orders placed less than two weeks in advance will be charged a 20% “rush fee.”

Do you have a minimum order requirement? Our minimum order during high season (May through October) is $300, not inclusive of taxes, styling, or delivery costs. November through April, the minimum is $200.00

Does Plank & Pearl deliver? Yes, we offer professional delivery service. Click here to see details and fees.

May I pick-up my order? We offer “Will Call” pick-up only for our smaller items. Furniture, heavy or fragile pieces, and one-of-a-kind items need to be packed up and delivered safely by our company.

Is a deposit required? In order to reserve and hold your rentals, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit on the final total of your order. When you sign your contract, we will charge your credit card for the deposit fee. The final 50% is due two weeks prior to your event.

Do you offer event styling? Yes, it’s one of our favorite things to do! You can find all of the details under “Services.”
What if I have my heart set on something special that you don’t have in your inventory?
We’re pros at researching and finding most anything (within reason!) for an hourly shopping fee. Again, timing is everything, so let us know what you’re looking for as soon as possible.

Do you support marriage equality and same-sex weddings? Absolutely! Love is love, and we treat every client with the same respect, professionalism, and high degree of service.
